Our cold-process soaps are handcrafted with brine solutions or sea salt, natural colorants, and real ingredients such as herbs, spices, botanicals, vegetables, fruits, juices, clays, and plant infusions.

Salt isn’t simply sprinkled into our recipes as an extra ingredient. It plays an important role in the formula, texture, hardness, and overall character of the finished bar.

🌊 Brine Soap

Brine soap is made by dissolving salt into the liquid used to make the soap. This means the salt becomes part of the soapmaking solution from the very beginning.

Brine can help create a firmer, longer-lasting bar with a smooth, dense feel and creamy lather. Because the salt is dissolved rather than remaining as noticeable crystals, the finished bar can feel smooth against the skin.

Brine soaps offer:

• Salt dissolved directly into the soapmaking liquid

• A hard, durable bar

• A smooth, dense texture

• Creamy, lower-bubble lather

• No noticeable salt crystals for exfoliation

• A different feel from a traditional cold-process bar

🧂 Sea Salt Soap

Our sea salt soaps contain sea salt incorporated into the soap itself rather than relying only on dissolved brine.

Higher amounts of salt can produce an extra-firm bar with a distinctive dense, creamy lather. Depending on how the salt is incorporated and the size of the crystals, the finished bar may also have more texture than a brine bar.

🌿 What You Won’t Find in Our Bars

Every soap is intentionally made without:

• Fragrance

• Essential oils

• Palm oil

• Coconut oil

• Artificial colorants

Instead, our colors and character come from ingredients such as real herbs, spices, foods, botanical infusions, juices, clays, roots, seeds, and plant powders.

Brine or Sea Salt: What’s the Difference?

Think of brine soap as salt dissolved into the foundation of the recipe, while sea salt soap brings the salt directly into the finished bar.

Both create their own texture, hardness, and lather experience. Neither is simply regular soap with salt tossed in at the end.
